====== Welcome to Sage's Wiki ====== This wiki is the collaborative space for Seattle trip planning. Feel free to start adding content and pages. * Remember the syntax help page if you are not sure how to write something * Sage's little TODO List for the Wiki itself
so how would i go about adding a new page?
--kayla It's easy! Just write a word and put double square brackets around it, like this: another page! Then, click on your new link, and write that page. --sage
hey sage. i'll do some research myself, but i'm also wanting to go to a museum if they have a neat exhibit while i'm there and maybe check out some unique handmade arts/crafts sort of stuff. and i'll try to get around to figuring out the link colors for the wiki soon. -kayla Hey Kayla, you should check out the Experience Music Project. -Brette that looks fun, thanks! -kayla 03-29 My book arrived today. Very nice. --Mom i just went and picked up my book. now i can procrastinate homework even longer! -kayla I have just updated the wiki so that it shows the time stamps in Pacific Time, rather than Mountain Time which it has been doing by default. --- //sage 04/02 10:51// * Sage the Entertainment Book for the Greater Seattle/Eastside has a coupon for the museum of flight and experience music project. I'm going to buy one online.-Mom Wait, wait. I get super discounts already with my Microsoft Prime Card. Site is here. $10/person for EMP and $3/person (not the discount, the price) for the Museum of Flight. Great! I was waiting for your answer before I purchased, just in case. First Book exchange,4-16-06 at The Original Pancake House. 1:30pm. Be there or be square! KAYLA, I came across this award winning Italian Rest. You might like it? Mom 4-15-06http://seattle.citysearch.com/profile/10781284?raid=212406 Hi Kitamorns (& Brette), I am Sage's co-worker Jonah, a three-year veteran of Seattle. You guys have already covered some of my favorite places, but here are my 2 cents. For breakfast, Hi-Spot in Madrona is fantastic, especially on a sunny day. For lunch, if you like Mexican food, try Agua Verde Paddle Club, very authentic and right on the ship canal in the south part of the U District. And for dinner, make a reservation at Matt's in the Market -- a great little place in Pike Place. Machiavelli is great for reasonably priced, no-nonsense Italian food. Most Seattle restaurants are veggie friendly. Cafe Flora is a local veggie favorite; Via Tribunali has great veggie and non-veggie pizza. Enjoy your stay! 4-20-06 Hi Jonah. Thanks for the 2 cents. We're pretty Seattle poor. But, thanks to good books and good advice we should have a vacation worth a million in memories.--Mom Kayla, thanks for trying to fix my entries. It's not doing it now.(I hope) Suzi from The Biggest Loser lives and has a business in Seattle. ==== Books ==== * eat.shop.seattle * Discovery Channel, Insight Guides-Seattle * Top 10 Seattle ==== Restaurants ==== * Victrola * Malay Satay Hut * Dim Sum * Tango Tapas * Crave--American * Crush--American * Hi-Spot Cafe--American * Kingfish Cafe--Southern * La Medusa--Sicilian * Postmark Gelato--Italian Gelato * Vios Cafe & Marketplace--Greek * Wild Ginger * Qazi's * Cafe Lago--Italian * Il Bistro--Italian * Panos Kleftiko Greek Tavern--Greek * Mamma Melina Ristorante--Italian * Blue C Sushi--Sushi * Chapel--Drinks * Cupcake Royale and Verite Coffee--Cupcakes! * Harvest Vine--Spanish * La Carta de Oaxaca--Mexican (Oaxacan) * Le Pichet--French * Sofrito Rico--Puerto Rican * Cyclops-American * Assaggio Ristorante-Italian * Honey Hole-Sandwiches * Costa's Opa-Greek * Cookies * Hattie's Hat-American * Alki Bakery-Desserts/Cafe * Luna Park-1950s-style American * Mistro-American * Champagne(French) * Chandler's Crab House * Shanghai Garden * Dahlia Lounge * Carmelita(vegetarian) * Cafe Flora(vegetarian) * Pagliacci Pizza * Greek/Jazz Restaurant * Salish Lodge Dining Room(Snoquaimie Falls) * Sapphire Restarant & Bar(Madrona) ==== Sightseeing ==== * Pike Place Market * Space Needle * Seattle Downtown Library * Experience Music Projecthttp://www.emplive.org/ Virtual Tourist: EMP * Woodland Park Zoo * Hendrix Statue * Lenin Statue * Fremont Troll * Walker Rock Garden * Seattle Art Museum * Bellevue Art Museum * Frye Art Museum * Seattle Asian Art Museum * Broadway * Belvedere Park Viewpoint * Snoquaimie Falls * Boeing Tour * Kerry Park ==== Shopping ==== * Fancy * George * Retroactive Kids * Schmanzy * Thread * Wall of Sound * Dusty Strings * Archie McPhee's * Exclusively Washington * Made In Washington * Adelita * Encanto Barcelona * PAPERSpace * Ped * Sway and Cake * Sweetie * World Spice Merchants * Red Light * Coldwater Creek ==== Outdoor Fun ==== * Volunteer Park * Ballard Locks * Discovery Park * Lake Washington Arboretum Japanese Garden * Point Defiance Park * Olympic National Park * International District * Pioneer Square ==== Special Events ==== * Sasquatch! May 28 * Fremont Fair and Solstice Parade June 17-18 * Pike Place Market Festival Memorial Day weekend ==== Personalized Pages ==== * Kayla's trip page * Brette's trip page * Mom and Dad's trip page * Sage Recommends...
